The Wind and the Sun

The wind and the sun were arguing about who is stronger.  The wind said, "I can rain," and the sun said, "I can shine, and I make the world flowers."  So they said, "I'm stronger." "I'm stronger."

So the sun said, "Whoever can get the coat off of that man is the stronger one.  Okay, you go first." So the wind blew it out, and it got closer and closer to him, but the wind had to give up.  Then the sun went close to the man, closer and closer, and it was very hot, so I think he took it off because the sun was very very hot.  So the sun was the stronger one.

Rumpelstiltskin

There was a king. There was a princess in the king's tower, and the king said, "If you don't spin this bowl into a pot of gold, you'll die the next day." She cried because she didn't know how to.

Then a little short man came in and said, "Why do you cry?" and then she said, "I don't know how to spin a pot of gold. Then he said, "What will you give me if I'll spin the bowl into a pot of gold?"

"I'll give you this necklace." So he spinned the pot of gold all night and then the king came in and saw what she done. It just made him even greedier, so he said, "Spin this one."

So the little man came back in and said, "What will you give me if I spin this pot of gold for you? "She said, "I'll give you something I forgot." So he spined the pot of gold all night, and then the king came in and said, "Here. Spin this one too. If you do and make me proud, I'll marry you."

So the little man said, "What will you give me if I spin this one for you?" And then she said, "I'll give you my finger." But he said, "Will you give me your child when you get married?" She didn't know when that would possibly happen. She couldn't help herself and said, "I'll give you my child." So he spinned the gold. Then the king saw and said, "Let's get engaged." They got married, had a beautiful child, didn't think about giving it to the man, and the man walked into the room, and then he said, "Ok, will you give me what you promised me? Ok, tell you what, if you know my name in three days you shall have your child."

So the second day she thought of all the weird names and called the guards in and asked what thier names were. She saw a wolf biting each other good night and saw a small house, and then she saw a fire lighting up, and then she saw the little man jumping and saying, "Yay! I'll have the child tomarrow because my name is (I forgot)." The third day she thought of all the names it could be. He went in the room and said, "Do you know my name?" She said, "Is your name (I forgot)?" He said, "No."

"Is your name (I forgot)?" He said, "No."

"Then your name should be Rumpelstiltskin." Then he got mad and said, "The devil has told you that!" Then he punched in the air, kicked his both legs and then the end.

Uncle Remus by Joel Chandler Harris chapters 1-3

The fox saw a real still baby, but it said nothing.  So it said, "If you don't say something, I'm going to punch you in the stomach."  Then the little still baby said nothing and just sat there. So the fox punched the baby in the stomach, but his hand got stuck in there.  He said, "If you don't let me get out of there, I'm going to punch you really hard," but the little baby just sat there and was still.  So he punched him again with both of his fists, and it got stuck inside the gut, so he kicked both of his legs in there, so he was stuck.  Then Brer Rabbit said something, I forgot.  The end.

Matthew 4:4

But He answered and said, "It is written, man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God."

The End of Saul

They were in a very, very dangerous war, and Saul said, “Go ahead and kill me with your sword.”  But the Philistine was too scared to, so he didn’t.  So Saul said, “Fine, then I’ll kill myself,” and he killed himself with his very own sword.  Then everyone killed themselves, and one of the Phillistines saw it and he cut Saul’s head off when he saw that him and his three sons were dead. Then he buried them by a tree.
